No stimp rating is supplied with the material. Green speed is a property of the finished installation and has to be measured on site.

Rolls ship as full 15 ft × 100 ft rolls covering 1,500 sq ft (166.7 sq yd); cut lengths are available when a full roll does not fit the job. A full roll weighs up to approximately 1,188 lb, so plan for forklift or equivalent unloading and confirm site access with the trade desk before scheduling. Color may vary slightly between dye lots, samples and photos: call (619) 717-1342 to confirm color before you order.
Required, supplied by others. Leveled silica sand infill is required: it is what makes the green putt true, holds the fibres upright and protects the backing. Fringe or collar turf around the green, the aggregate base, and cups and flags are also sourced separately. Superior Turf Direct supplies the turf only and does not install.

What green speed does Crown Putt roll at?
No stimp rating is supplied with the material. Green speed is a property of the finished installation, including base flatness, sand depth and grade, brushing and maintenance, and has to be measured on site.
Why is the gauge different from the landscape turf?
3/16 in is half the 3/8 in gauge used across the landscape line, which puts twice as many stitch rows under the ball. That density, plus the absence of a thatch layer, is what produces a consistent roll.
Does Crown Putt need infill?
Yes. Leveled silica sand infill is required. It is what makes the green putt true, holds the fibres upright and protects the backing. We supply materials only, so infill is sourced and installed by others.
What should go around the green?
Most builds use a landscape turf as a collar. Prince 80 and Queen 90 are the usual pairings at a shorter pile. Your rep can spec the green and the collar together.
Is Crown Putt safe and non-toxic?
