Warranty & Compliance
Every roll is warranted against manufacturing defects, UV degradation and excessive fading for a combined sixteen years from the date your material ships. This page sets out the coverage, the exclusions, and the compliance data published for each product, so commercial buyers and boards have the documentation before they approve a purchase.
Coverage at a glance
The same term applies to every product in the line. What changes by product is the application it is approved for, and the compliance data the manufacturer publishes.

Coverage detail
Three things are covered: manufacturing defects, UV degradation of the fiber, and excessive fading beyond normal color change. The six exclusions below are the ones that come up most often on a job, and they are worth raising with your customer before the turf goes down. The complete list is further down this page.
Seams, base preparation, drainage, fastening and wrinkling are the installing contractor’s responsibility, not a material defect.
Low-E glass, mirrors and polished metal can concentrate sunlight past the melting point of any synthetic fiber. No manufacturer warrants against it. Raise it before you quote a large south or west-facing glass elevation.
Slight variation in thatch texture or dye lot color, and normal color change over the life of the turf, are excluded. Confirm color before you order.
Grills, fire pits, fireworks, cigarettes and hot ash, plus solvents, herbicides, pool chemicals, oil and fuel.
Vehicles, heavy static loads, sharp objects, or cleats on a product not specified for that use. Check the approved-use column below.
Damage beyond normal use is excluded, and pet odor and staining are not treated as material defects.

An 8-year factory warranty, plus an 8-year Superior residual warranty that takes over when factory coverage ends: 16 years of protection from the date your material ships. The Superior residual warranty is prorated and becomes effective on the first day of the ninth year, after factory coverage ends. It extends to the Registered Owner only, so material must be registered.

Compliance figures are published per product by the manufacturer and are not identical across the line, so nothing here is stated as a blanket claim. Where a cell reads “Not published”, no figure has been issued for that product and the trade desk should be asked before you specify it. Every product carries the same 16-year term, but coverage depends on the product being used in the application it was approved for.
Elite Pet 80 in commercial pet facilities. Elite Pet 80 is approved for residential pet areas: dog runs, backyard pet areas and side-yard relief areas. The coverage tier for commercial pet facilities, including kennel, boarding, daycare, veterinary, shelter and grooming use, is unconfirmed and is not covered by any published term. Call (619) 717-1342 before specifying Elite Pet 80 for a commercial pet facility.
Commercial buyers, HOA boards and public agencies usually need the warranty document and the product spec sheet in the submittal package. Both are linked above. If a project needs documentation that is not published here, ask the trade desk and we will confirm what the manufacturer can provide.
Registration and claims
Registration is what carries the residual term to the owner. Do it when the job is finished, not when a problem appears.
Coverage runs from the ship date, so the shipping invoice is the document that starts the clock.
Register after installation so the residual warranty extends to the Registered Owner.
Photograph the area, note the install date and location, and keep the product name and lot detail to hand.

An 8-year factory warranty runs first at full coverage of the material against covered defects. An 8-year Superior residual warranty then takes over: 100% of the remaining material value in years 9 to 11, 50% in years 12 to 14, and 25% in years 15 to 16. The residual term is prorated, becomes effective on the first day of the ninth year, and extends to the Registered Owner only.
Yes. Every product carries the same 16-year term. What differs is the application each product is approved for, which is shown in the approved-use column above. Using a product outside its approved application can put coverage at risk.
No, and it should not be stated that way. Compliance is published per product. Prince 80, Queen 90, Imperial 100, Regent 100, Elite Pet 80, Crown Putt and Champion Sport publish lead-free and PFAS-free per mill testing. Superior Natural 80 publishes lead and mercury. Majestic 110 publishes lead, cadmium and mercury. Princess 115 has no published compliance data. The table above shows exactly what exists for each product.
The 16-year limited warranty document and the manufacturer spec sheet for the product. Nine of the ten products have a published spec sheet; Princess 115 does not, so ask the trade desk. No flammability or third-party test certificate is published, so do not commit to supplying one without confirming first.
